BOTLANE LAB

Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: 28 October 2026

This policy describes the current BOTLANE LAB information website and local development prototype. Planned ads, builds and matchup features are not active. It does not describe hypothetical future data collection as if it already happens.

1. Operator and contact

Lorik Salihu, based in Kosovo, operates BOTLANE LAB and is responsible for personal information handled by the project. For privacy questions or requests, email me@loriksalihu.com.

2. Visiting this website

The site serves static information pages and a prototype screenshot. It has no BOTLANE LAB login, contact form, analytics script, ad integration, tracking pixel or application code that connects to your game. We have not added cookies, local storage or session storage to the website.

Cloudflare hosts and delivers the site. To serve requests and protect its infrastructure, Cloudflare may process technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, timestamps and security signals, and may use security-related cookies or similar mechanisms. This is distinct from the site having no custom analytics or tracking code. Cloudflare's processing, retention and international transfers are governed by its applicable service arrangements and Privacy Policy. We have not configured a custom visitor database, application request log or visitor analytics script for this site.

3. Local prototype game data

In local-data mode, the widget requests data from a bridge running on the same computer. The bridge contacts Riot's documented Live Client Data service on that computer. It reads the active player's identifier to select the relevant score, total CS and match time. It passes CS, time and connection status to the widget; the player identifier is not sent to the widget, logged or saved by the bridge.

Samples and connection state are held temporarily in memory to calculate CS/min and detect stale or invalid readings. The current local-data implementation does not save game history to disk or upload this data to a BOTLANE LAB server. Stopping the bridge and closing the widget ends processing and releases that in-memory state. The prototype's simulation uses synthetic data.

The separate Overwolf Native integration is still awaiting real runtime validation. Riot and Overwolf operate their own services and may independently process data under their own policies. We do not claim that those platforms collect no data. Their policies are available from Riot Games and Overwolf.

4. If you contact us

If you email us, we receive your address, message and any information you choose to include. We use that information to answer your request, investigate issues and maintain necessary correspondence. Our email provider also processes the message to deliver and store it. Please do not send passwords, API keys or unnecessary personal game records.

We keep correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, handle related follow-up or satisfy applicable legal obligations. There is no automated deletion schedule currently configured. You may request deletion; information needed for legal obligations or an unresolved dispute may need to be retained.

5. Purposes, legal grounds and sharing

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, necessary site delivery, security and responding to ordinary inquiries rely on legitimate interests in operating and protecting the project, balanced against your rights. Processing needed to provide a service you request may rely on performance of a contract; legally required processing relies on the relevant obligation. Optional processing that requires consent will not be introduced without obtaining it.

We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising in the current implementation. Information may be handled by hosting and email providers as necessary to provide their services, or disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights. Providers may process information in countries outside your own; applicable safeguards depend on the provider and governing arrangements.

6. Your choices and rights

You can stop visiting the site and control cookies through your browser. To stop local game-data processing, close the widget and stop the local bridge. There is no BOTLANE LAB user account, cloud match-history store or advertising profile in the current implementation.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent where used, or complain to the relevant data-protection authority. Email me@loriksalihu.com to exercise a right. We may need proportionate information to verify a request and will respond within applicable legal time limits. We cannot erase records controlled independently by Riot, Overwolf or other providers; requests about their own processing should go to them.

7. Security and younger users

The site is served over HTTPS. The current bridge binds to the computer's loopback interface and restricts access to its local origin. No service is completely secure. Report suspected privacy or security issues by email without including secrets.

The project is not directed at children below the age at which they may lawfully use the relevant services. We do not knowingly solicit children's personal information. If you believe a child has provided it through correspondence, contact us so we can address it.

8. Future features and policy changes

Overwolf Ads is planned but not implemented. Any advertising identifiers, analytics, accounts, remote game-data features or new providers would change this policy's scope. We will update the policy before introducing those changes and provide notice and consent choices where legally required. The date at the top identifies the current version.
